Welcome to my website. Some of you may remember me from my days with The Winters Brothers Band.

Here I am singing with my Dad's photo in the background. It was a tribute jam.

You can also check me out at www.myspace.com/donniewintersmusic and listen or download some of my music.

I was raised in a music family. My dad Don Winters was a great singer-songwriter,and sang back up and toured with country legend Marty Robbins for years. Growing up, Marty was like an uncle to my brother Dennis and Me. Marty even recorded 10 of our songs. Dennis and I later started up the popular Winters Brothers Band that toured along side bands such as the Marshall Tucker band and Charlie Daniels playing festivals and arenas aound the country. In April of 2000 I took my engineering skills to the famous Sutler in Nashville where I worked as the house soundman. I would often get onstage with my dobro or guitar to join in with some of the music city's best songwriters. When the Sutler closed it was a sad day, but the good news is that I moved down 8th Avenue to Douglas Corner and continued hosting an Open Mic Writers Night where I sit in with some of the acts.  I also enjoy playing with the great Joe Sun, Davis Raines & The Faders, Teddy Larkin & Scary Wagon, The Reigning Hounds, David Lee Slate and lots of other great acts in Nashville.
